Por que Rock IN Rio?

Vem aí último dia do festival Rock IN Rio. Você sabe por que é IN e não ON ou AT? Quando e como usar estas preposições?

No caso de Rock IN Rio, a preposição indica LUGAR.

IN - nomes de bairros (in Copacabana), cidades (in Salvador), estados (in Pernambuco), países (in Brazil), continentes (in South America) ou lugares fechados como em in a box, in a building, in a car/taxi/boat (ideia de inside/dentro)

AT - hora específica: at five o´clock, at noon, at lunch time, at the end of the month.
