Como usar AT, IN, ON (places)

Hello learners!

Vamos continuar com o estudo das preposições.

AT > pontos de encontro
Let´s meet AT the bus stop / AT the restaurant / AT the corner.

Expressões fixas: at the top, at the bottom, at the side, at the beginning, at the end

IN > 3-D places like boxes (caixas), cômodos, cidades, estados, países
The eraser is IN the box.
I live IN Rio de Janeiro.

ON > 2-D surface (superfície) como floor, table, wall, ceiling.
The board is ON the wall.

Attention!!
1 - People are IN clothes. Clothes and jewelry are ON people.

2 - We say IN a car but ON a bus, on a train, on a plane.

Como usar AT, IN, ON (time)

Hello learners!

Hoje vamos estudar essas três preposições tão importantes da língua inglesa.

AT  > é usado para hora do relógio
I´ll see you at 4:15
My class is AT seven o´clock.

IN > é usado para falar das partes do dia: in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening
* Exceção at night
I go to the gym IN the morning.

Também usamos IN para dizer o mês ou o ano de algo.
My birthday is IN June.
I was born IN 1989.

ON > é usado para falar de dias da semana
I have English classes ON Fridays.
I have English classes ON Friday mornings.

Também usamos ON quando citamos datas completas.
My birthday is ON June 20.
